Toyo: All or Nothing

The Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. was established in Japan in 1945 with a merger of Toyo Industries and Hirano Rubber shortly after WWII. They unified as a result of the destruction of both companies’ assets from the war shortly after Japan surrendered. In July of 1966, U.S. operations of Toyo tires began in California. At the same time, the distribution of commercial tires began. Passenger tires soon followed less than a decade later, and then they expanded further in the United States by opening a production facility in Mt. Vernon, Illinois in 1998.

Production has only increased since then, and has continued to grow through offering replacement tires for nearly all makes and models of vehicles

They also produce and distribute Nitto tires since 1979.
